The Friedman Small Box overdrive pedal tucks away the much-loved British guitar sound of both tasteful boutique and vintage valve amplifiers, scrolling through everything from a classic Plexi overdrive to high-gain amp overdrive, expertly mimicking the output of the renowned Friedman Smallbox amp head. Dial this mega-versatile pedal in via the Gain pot, alter the gain structure via the two-way switch and customise the sound of this American-made stomper.

The Friedman Small Box: Big, Variable Sound

Everything can be accurately moulded to shape via a set of Bass, Mid and Treble pots and, for even more control over the super-high registers, simply tweak the Presence pot to find your preferred setting before adjusting the output volume. This true-bypass stompbox functions perfectly on a standard 9 Volt power supply, but for more headroom and even bigger sound, can also run on an 18 Volt power supply.
